Weekly Message #7-4

images-1The last week of September is upon us.  Unbelievable!  It’s time for “Super Parent Night” otherwise known as Meet the Teacher night.  I hope that you all had a chance to send home the personal invitations from your students  encouraging parents to join us on Wednesday night.  The PAC is very excited about the reception portion of the evening and they are hoping for a good turn out.  Please continue to talk about this daily in your classroom.

I will be late arriving on Monday and Karl will be at a workshop so Jane is in charge until I get there.  Please check your boxes for a class list and instructions for our class review on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.  If possible, it would be great if you could take the time to review your class list with the checklist provided.

Thanks in advance to Tim who is assisting with the set up and organization of this Thursday’s Terry Fox assembly.  Please encourage students to bring in their donations this week.  A total “so far” will be announced on Monday.  Teachers should use their discretion as to how far students can run / walk.  Thank you to non enrolling teachers for setting themselves up at key locations around the route for crowd control and safety.

Thanks also to Brenden and the Pro-d Committee for organizing a series of opportunities for this Friday.  It promises to be a useful and inspiring day.

EVENTS THIS WEEK:

  1. Class Review – Tuesday and Wednesday in Room 103
  2. Super Parents Night – Wednesday at 6:00 – 7:30
  3. Terry Fox Assembly and Run Thursday at 1:00.

Have a great week everyone!
